Benita Tereso DeJesus

Benita lives with her two children in a house made of black visqueen, blue tarps, and scraps of wood. The house has dirt floors and the bed is a piece of plywood without a mattress. There is no plumbing or electricity.

She works in the agricultural camp and her husband gives her $15 each week, sometimes.

We would like to buy a lot for Benita. We are looking, but have not yet found one that has water and electricity available.
